I had so much fun with this young happy couple preparing to start a life together. I was more than just a photographer doing an engagement shoot. I knew this young woman as an infant. My husband stood as best man for her father. He sat in this very same gazebo as a very young man when her parents posed for their wedding pictures. I was delighted when I learned that the couple would like the engagement pictures in the park, less then a mile from my home. I met them with some props at the Gazebo on one of the cooler mornings of this summer and one in which clouds hung around for a while creating a nice soft light.
#Dogwoodweek37 was a serious problem for me. I am not much into fashion. I thought about making up one eye and photographing the difference. I thought about dragging a nice white chair I have into the field behind my house and putting a basket with cut flowers on it and maybe a hat and some clippers. Eventually I had a vision of hats in the light of bedroom window.
This mask uses glasses glued inside to wear…they don’t fit over the glasses I wear every day…but it makes a fun prop.
First of all I always have to look that word up to spell. Second I realise the choice I am about to make is not a real dilemma. No doubt I would rather play with pictures then clean my house making this choice easier than most. However I do not like all kinds of stuff laying about making clutter. That even includes too many pictures in my IPhone. So the real dilemma today is which to delete so I can add more.
I managed to spend at least half an hour trying to get five pics of MaraBella in a collage and could not figure out how to move them from among the frames. Georgiann Rose, you know? Then another 15 working four pics. Now I sit spending another 15 minutes contributing to my blog. Also not a dilemma as I like doing this
Marabella I can only have one or two photos of you on my phone so why not stick a bunch in one frame. Ya. Problem solved the rest of your pics are moving to the laptop
Winter in bed Spring in pink petals. Digging in summer Autumn leaves
Not really a dilemma, just a problem….
I tried to do this post on my phone…and got as far as adding my featured photo and having it come up sideways…Had to go back through computer to fix it up and wrap it up.
Oy! On to next dilemma. Do I start the vacuum in the kitchen or dining room….that is my dilemma. Really don’t want to do either.
Already September and I feel like I really let the summer slip by and get away from me. Spontaneous lung collapse during a summer with 9 heatwaves doesn’t help much.
#dogwood52week challenge continues to inspire and this week is fashion. Might have to take some pics of my fashion queen mom for this one. But for now #dogwoodweek35 nature close up and 36 food, are still fresh in my mind…
I was fooling around in snapseed and realized how much I need a logo. This won’t be it.
I wonder if I will ever tire of tending to the honeysuckle and waiting for the hummers to appear.
I will never tire of eating good food and learning something new about photography.
